Buckley said that “Palworld” has indeed revealed many new plans this year, including physical trading cards and the MMORPG “Palworld Online” developed by Garena and focusing on mobile platforms. However, he emphasized that these works were not produced by Pocketpair itself. The company is still focusing its main resources on updating the main body of “Palworld”, and the team size is not large enough to develop so many large-scale projects at the same time.

Buckley also responded again to various outside speculations about the company, saying that Pocketpair is still 100% independent and self-funded, has not been acquired by a large game company, and has not accepted external capital control. He hopes players know that although the “Palworld” IP is rapidly expanding, many new works are developed by partners, and Pocketpair itself is still focused on operating core games.
