A major dark horse has appeared on Steam’s wishlist rankings — Dear Passengers has climbed to third place across all platforms, with only Valve’s Deadlock and Light No Fire ahead of it. Even more impressive: the developer Flexus hasn’t actually released any games on Steam yet. This title has essentially rocketed into Steam’s most anticipated games list with just one upcoming release.
2 Million Wishlists — Even the Developers Are Shocked!
Flexus revealed that as of July 31st, Dear Passengers had accumulated over 2 million Steam wishlists. After that, it climbed from the top five to fourth place on August 7th, and by September 5th, it announced it had broken into the top three on Steam’s wishlist. Even the official social media accounts seem to be in a “Wait, we actually made it?!” state.

Is the “Friends” Theme Trending Again?
Dear Passengers focuses on multiplayer co-op gameplay, where players run “the world’s worst airline” together. The plane is falling apart, cargo might be illegal, and passenger safety seems to be the last thing on anyone’s mind. The game follows the “friendslop” route that’s been popular on Steam lately — friends causing chaos and absurd situations together to drive the entertainment value.

They’re Not Actually Newbies
While Flexus has no Steam games, they’re not completely inexperienced. This Ukrainian studio, founded in 2020, has over 70 employees and its mobile games have accumulated over 300 million downloads. Previous works include Tower Draft, Mow My Lawn, Dye Hard, and Train Miner. Now making the leap to PC, their first Steam title has directly cracked the top three on wishlists — quite the unexpected start.
