After “Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced” was launched, many players immediately discovered that the game did not have a New Game+ (second game) mode, which caused a lot of complaints. Now Ubisoft has finally brought good news. Game director Richard Knight has personally confirmed that New Game+ has been officially put into development and is one of the team’s current priority projects.
Ubisoft finally relents
Richard Knight said in an interview that the team is currently “developing” New Game+ and emphasized that this is one of the development team’s top priority features. He revealed that since “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” has already established relevant systems, the risk of importing “Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced” this time is relatively low. However, he also admitted that the specific launch date cannot be announced yet. In addition to New Game+, Knight also revealed that the team is continuing to plan other updates to further improve the player experience.

The launch was criticized for having few features, so Ubisoft began to slowly add them.
Since the release of “Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced”, it has caused a lot of discussion due to issues such as micro-transactions, the absence of some classic content, offline mode and missing functions, and New Game+ is one of the most requested features by players. Now that the official has finally confirmed that it is under development, many players are relieved.

It’s just that what players really care about is probably not “if”, but “when”. After all, for many people, starting the second game immediately after playing one round is the most natural way to play the “Assassin’s Creed” series. Now Ubisoft has at least given a positive answer. The rest depends on how long players have to wait.
