Xbox officially announced that it will hold a new digital event on May 7, which will bring the latest news about the next-generation console Project Helix. This console is currently the successor to the Xbox Series X/S and is Microsoft’s next official console product.

This event will be attended by Xbox VP of Next-Gen Jason Ronald and Xbox GM of Portfolios and Programs Chris Charla to introduce information related to Project Helix.

Officials stated that in addition to introducing Project Helix, the program will also mention a number of partner-related content, including development tool updates, market mall adjustments, and a review of information announced by Xbox during GDC.
It has not yet been confirmed what proportion Project Helix will account for in the entire event, but since the official has named this console in advance, it is expected to be one of the main focuses.
Project Helix confirmed as first-party host
Earlier this month, Xbox denied some external rumors, clarifying that Project Helix is not a third-party device, nor is it a cooperative model like the ROG Xbox Ally.
Jason Ronald said at the time that Project Helix would be an Xbox first-party console, which would be developed internally by Xbox rather than launched by partners such as ASUS.
This also means that Project Helix will be a true new generation console product from Microsoft, rather than an extended hardware.
