Hasbro has officially launched the electronic Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda, now available for pre-order at just $39.99 (approximately $1,250 TWD, $312 HKD, or 157 MYR), with shipping expected in Spring 2027. For a gaming collectible, this price is considerably lower than many players anticipated.
Not 1:1, But Good Enough
This Master Sword measures approximately 27 inches, noticeably smaller than its in-game full-size version, and isn’t designed as a functional weapon—it’s more of a toy and collectible. However, Hasbro put considerable effort into the shape, coloring, and proportions, so it won’t look like a cheap plastic stick sitting in your room.
Draw the Sword, Slash with Sound Effects!
The biggest highlight is the electronic functionality—the sword plays draw and sheath sounds when picked up or set down, swing sounds when waved, and even collision sounds, offering more than 15 sound effects. This sword is based on the Master Sword design from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Sold Out Before You Could Buy?
Even more ridiculous—the product just opened for pre-order and already shows out-of-stock across multiple retailers. Hasbro Pulse became one of the few places still available, and later saw restocks. It seems like players complain about “more merchandise” but their wallets tell a different story when they see the Master Sword.
