Imagine that when you used to play “Pokémon Snap”, you would chase Pokémon with a camera and take pictures. Now this thing can finally be moved to the real world. Polaroid announced the launch of a new co-branded series with Pokémon, integrating classic Pokémon elements directly into instant cameras, films and peripherals, allowing players to take photos with their “Pokémon Camera”. This wave of collaborations also coincides with the 30th anniversary of Pokémon, and the childhood filters are immediately full.
Pikachu, Fairy Eevee, and Poké Ball all turn into cameras
There are three co-branded cameras this time, among which the Polaroid Go Gen 3 is available in Pikachu yellow and Fairy Eevee style versions, priced at US$99.99 (approximately NT$3,200, HK$780, RM395); there is also the Poké Ball-shaped Polaroid Now Gen 3, priced at US$139.99 (approximately NT$4,500, HK$1,090, RM550). In addition, there are Pokémon-themed negatives, camera bags, photo albums and shoulder straps, basically allowing you to buy peripherals from the camera all the way.

The co-branded negatives also have exclusive designs. The Polaroid Go double pack is priced at US$24.99 (approximately NT$800, HKD195, RM100), while the i-Type special edition negative is US$22.99 (approximately NT$735, HK$180, RM90). Some of the negatives will also include silhouettes of Pikachu, Fairy Eevee and other Pokémon, and even the protection cards spat out when loading Polaroid films have been made into Pokémon collection elements. In the past, I took photos to preserve memories, but now I take a photo and receive a card.
Pre-orders will open on August 25th, and sales will begin in October.
The joint series between Pokémon and Polaroid will be available for pre-order on August 25, 2026, and is expected to be officially launched globally on October 5.
