World of Warcraft Classic recently saw an absolutely ridiculous PvP counterattack. A well-known PvP player dubbed “Redridgeguy” has been relentlessly hunting Alliance players in the game, reportedly killing around 400 to 700 people per day. He also exploits nearly unreachable positions and sends pets to attack unsuspecting players, driving many to frustration.
Players successfully reported him — but instantly started regretting it!
After reaching their breaking point, players began mass-reporting Redridgeguy to Twitch, and his Twitch account was eventually banned. Everyone should be celebrating with champagne, but things immediately took a turn. Because Redridgeguy’s stream was the only reliable way for players to track his location. Now that the stream is gone, nobody knows where this guy is hiding in the game.
No stream to report location actually made things worse
As GamesRadar reported, after Redridgeguy lost his stream, players who relied on it to track his position suddenly lost their intel source. The situation escalated even further when Horde players joined the fray, leading to even more chaotic PvP conflicts for the Alliance. In short, players tried to turn off the “human radar” only to discover they now have no idea where the enemy is. This whole thing is a bit like removing your GPS navigation while driving.
He still hasn’t been banned from the game
Currently, Redridgeguy’s Twitch ban is the only action taken. His YouTube channel still exists, and there’s no news indicating he’s been banned from World of Warcraft Classic. Players achieved their goal of getting him off Twitch, but ironically, the game itself has become even more chaotic without his stream.
