Big Hops, one of the most critically acclaimed indie platformers of the year, is now officially a friendship breaker. Developer Luckshot Games announced the launch of a free multiplayer update “Big Hops Together”, which allows players to play with up to 8 people together, and fully supports the entire game process without any content being deleted. The most outrageous thing is that players can also grab their teammates’ tongues and swing them around, directly escalating an originally chaotic adventure into a large-scale disaster scene.

The entire game can be played by 8 people together
According to the official introduction, “Big Hops Together” is not an additional small mode, but fully supports all content of “Big Hops”. Up to 8 players can explore, solve puzzles, and jump together. They can also use the character’s tongue to swing each other, pull teammates, and even use friends as mobility tools to complete the level. The official emphasized: “There are no compromises, no single-player limited content, and it is not a half-finished product.” All levels can be played by multiple people.

Steam players are the first to experience it, and the official version will be launched soon!
The multiplayer mode is currently open for public testing on Steam. Players can get an early experience by switching to the Together test branch, and the official version is expected to be launched on August 9. As for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, the developers stated that there are currently no multiplayer updates because they want to focus resources on completing the Steam version first and then evaluate subsequent platform plans.
