The Lenovo Legion Go Fold Concept, exclusively exposed by foreign media, is expected to be officially unveiled at the MWC Show in Barcelona on March 2, 2026. The core concept of this device is that you no longer need to carry a handheld computer + laptop, because it is a fusion of the two: when folded, it is a traditional Windows handheld computer, and when unfolded, it directly becomes a large-sized PC, and it can even be used as a desktop computer!
Four ways to play with one device: handheld, dual-screen, super-large screen, laptop included
The biggest highlight of the Legion Go Fold is of course the foldable POLED screen, which expands from 7.7 inches in the folded state to 11.6 inches in size. But the really scary thing is the usage mode. The first is the most familiar Handheld Mode. After the controller is adsorbed on both sides, it becomes the standard Windows handheld form.
The second is Vertical Split-Screen Mode. The screen unfolds upright, with the upper half used for playing games and the lower half used for live streaming, watching guides or chatting – this is actually very similar to how the Nintendo DS was evolved into the PC generation.
The third Horizon Full Screen Mode is the real killer move. After it is fully unfolded horizontally and the controllers are installed on both sides, you will get an “11.6-inch super large handheld device.” It’s closer to the size of a small laptop than the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, or even the Legion Go body!

Finally, there is Expanded Desktop Mode. When paired with the included wireless keyboard and trackpad, it will turn directly into a laptop; even the right controller can be used upright as a mouse, continuing the FPS mode design of the second generation of Legion Go.

Intel Core Ultra + 32GB RAM This is not a toy, it is a complete PC
Lenovo is not polite when it comes to performance. The current exposed specifications include:
- Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor.
- 32GB RAM。
- 7.7-inch to 11.6-inch foldable POLED display.
- 48Wh battery.
- Detachable controller and small secondary screen.
- The right controller even has a built-in small display panel that can display performance information, shortcut keys, and touch operations.
While it’s a bit of a shame that it doesn’t use newer Panther Lake processors, considering this is still a concept product, it’s likely just a matter of development timing.
The real concern is the battery. 48Wh is only a medium capacity for a Windows handheld machine. Without the help of Windows 11 game efficiency optimization and new Xbox FSE features, battery life may still be the biggest challenge.
Is Lenovo’s concept phone really just a concept?
Many players will skip Concept when they see it, but Lenovo is not an ordinary manufacturer. For example, the ThinkBook Auto Twist concept machine was officially mass-produced into the ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist in just one year. For this reason, many observers believe that the Legion Go Fold may not be a display product, but a market test.
If the response is enthusiastic, it wouldn’t be surprising to see an official version before 2027.
