AYANEO has launched a new machine that takes a high-profile route. “KONKR FIT” is officially open for pre-order, focusing on Windows handheld positioning, and is also the first product under the KONKR sub-brand. Although it is officially called “release”, the actual shipping time will not start until April, and now it is only open to global pre-orders.

The most eye-catching thing is not the appearance, but the core specifications. This machine is directly upgraded to AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and HX 470, which is a very high-end configuration among current mobile processors, and it also makes it stand at the top of performance as soon as it debuts!

The price is not cheap. The high-end version can easily exceed a thousand dollars.

The official pre-order price has been announced, with the entry-level version equipped with Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 priced at US$999 (approximately NT$31,500/approximately HK$7,800/approximately MYR 4,700). The higher-end HX 470 version goes directly to US$1,299 (approximately NT$40,900/approximately HK$10,200/approximately MYR 6,100).

There are also differences in memory and storage configurations between the two versions. The HX 370 is equipped with 16GB LPDDR5x memory and 512GB SSD, while the HX 470 is upgraded to 32GB memory and 1TB SSD. It is obviously prepared for serious gamers or people who use it as a mobile computer.

7-inch OLED + 144Hz high brush, directly to the high end

The screen part uses a 7-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1920×1080. It supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and HDR. The official label has a maximum global brightness of 800 nits, and provides four refresh rate mode switches.

The dimensions are 270.8 × 100.4 × 25.1 mm, and the weight is about 738g. The handheld feel is more like a “thick” handheld machine. The battery capacity is 80.85Wh and supports PD fast charging and bypass charging design, which can reduce battery burden when charging while playing.

Control and hardware details take a professional route

The operation part focuses on the TMR rocker and switchable dual-mode trigger, which can switch between Hall effect and micro switch. The back provides additional buttons and customizable mapping functions, as well as a vibration system and ergonomic grip design.

In terms of expansion, it supports UHS-II microSD card and provides two USB-C (40Gbps + 10Gbps), 3.5mm headphone jack and fingerprint recognition integrated in the power button.

The heat dissipation structure includes copper plates, heat sinks, high-density fins and a single fan design, obviously to suppress the heat generated by the HX series processors.

The handheld market is becoming more and more like the laptop market

This KONKR FIT is positioned not just as a game console, but more like a portable Windows high-performance device. Especially the 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD combination of the HX 470 version is obviously targeting high-end mobile computers.

However, prices have also risen with the tide, and the thousand-dollar level is no longer an impulse purchase, but a level close to “work equipment”. The handheld market is slowly turning into another laptop market, with specifications and prices becoming polarized.

Currently, the colors are available in silver and gold-colored versions, but the colors corresponding to different configurations may be different, and actual shipments must wait for official follow-up confirmation.
