With Grand Theft Auto VI inching closer to release, the identity of the actress behind protagonist Lucia remains a mystery. During an Instagram livestream, actress Manni L. Perez – long suspected by players of being Lucia – drew thousands of viewers, many of them GTA fans who flooded the comments with direct questions about whether she is involved in GTA 6 and whether she provided Lucia’s voice and motion performance. Asked repeatedly, Perez never addressed the questions directly, and the stream immediately became the focus of player speculation.
Silence is making players more suspicious
Clips from the stream were reposted across gaming communities, reviving the hunt for Lucia’s real performer. Perez has been one of the names in the running for years, with fans trying to match her voice, appearance and mannerisms against the character. Her choice to steer clear of the topic naturally made the community even more curious. Still, staying silent is not a confirmation, and it certainly is not proof that she is Lucia – only that players want the answer more urgently than they want the game itself.

The truth may have to wait for launch
For now, Rockstar Games has still not officially revealed the cast for most of GTA 6’s principal characters, and Perez has not confirmed any connection to the game. The theory remains firmly in fan-speculation territory. GTA 6 is currently slated for release on November 19, 2026, and with that date looming, curiosity about the cast keeps escalating. Whether Perez is bound by a strict NDA or simply does not want to feed the rumour mill, the answer will only arrive when Rockstar publishes the credits.
