This Gyarados is so handsome! Players create god-level LEGO works, and officials are interested!

LEGO × Pokémon collaboration has a new topic! The three-dimensional Pokémon card model of Gyarados created by a LEGO player has recently become popular on the Internet. Not only is it highly restored, it was also successfully shortlisted for the LEGO Ideas × Pokémon TCG official design competition. Now foreign media have pointed out that this work has a real chance of becoming an official LEGO set for sale.

Gyarados rushes out of the card, and the three-dimensional design amazes players!

This work is called “Gyarados: Sunset Splash”, and its biggest feature is that Gyarados “rushes out” from the Pokémon card. The creator revealed that it took a week to repeatedly modify the head of Gyarados. The overall design is a combination of 2D cards and 3D models. The head is completely three-dimensional and the body gradually blends into the card surface. Combined with the sunset and ocean waves scenes, it creates a visual effect of Gyarados leaping out of the card. The entire work used a total of 1,262 bricks and took about three weeks to complete.

In this official LEGO Ideas × Pokémon TCG event, a total of five works including Gyarados, Mew, Arceus, Rowlet and Joltik entered the final round. The final winning work will be made into an official product by LEGO in the future, so Gyarados is not just a fan creation, but has a real chance of becoming an official sales set.

After the news was exposed, many “Pokémon” fans called Gyarados the most stunning of the five works. It not only fully presents the characteristics of Pokémon cards, but also has display value. Some players also said that if it is finally commercialized, this is likely to become one of the most popular collectibles in the LEGO × Pokémon series.
