The new open-world D&D action game “Warlock” developed by Invoke Studios and created by Wizards of the Coast has revealed another heavyweight actor. Officially announced, popular actress Maggie Robertson, who played Orin the Red in “Baldur’s Gate 3” and Lady Dimitrescu in “Resident Evil Village/Resident Evil 8: Village”, will voice the classic villain Archmage Tasha in “Warlock” and will also be responsible for the motion capture performance.

Classic D&D characters appear, and another member of the luxurious cast is added!
According to GamesRadar, Tasha is a very representative legendary mage in the world of “Dungeons & Dragons” and a well-known demonologist who plays a very important role in the setting.

In addition to Maggie Robertson, the game’s protagonist Kaatri is voiced by Tricia Helfer, who has performed in “Battlestar Galactica” and “Lucifer”, making the voice actor lineup of “Warlock” even more luxurious.

Focus on single-player open world
Although it is also based on the D&D world view, “Warlock” is not a turn-based RPG like “Baldur’s Gate 3”. According to officials, this game is a single-player open-world third-person action game. Players will play the protagonist Kaatri and use various magics to explore the world, fight and advance the plot. The overall style is closer to the open-world adventure of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” than to a board game rule-oriented RPG. The game is expected to launch in 2027.
