Warhorse Studios confirmed that they are developing a new project codenamed “New Kingdom Come Adventure”. Embracer CEO confirmed the news during a recent earnings call, saying the project is “definitely a game fans will love” and is expected to release in early 2027. This time point is undoubtedly a surprise for fans who have been waiting for news about the sequel to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance/Kingdom Come: Deliverance”!
Is this new project a true story or a side story?
While Embracer CEO confirmed the project’s existence, there’s no word yet on whether the new project will be a full RPG sequel or a spin-off. Industry speculation is that since the core gameplay of “Kingdom Come: Deliverance” was a relatively hard-core medieval melee combat simulation, it would not be too surprising if this new project was a spin-off or a lightweight work.
