The handheld console market has become exaggeratedly hot in the past two years, and now it’s Intel’s turn to flip the table again. According to foreign media information, Intel’s Panther Lake-specific solution for handheld consoles is expected to be officially unveiled during the Computex schedule. The name has also gradually converged from the “Core G3/Arc G3” mixed in previous information to the Arc G3 series.
Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme two product lines, mass production this year
The currently leaked roadmap divides the product into two segments: Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme, and marks the time window falling in Q2 2026, with the product life cycle extending to Q2 2027. This does not mean that you will be able to find it in stores tomorrow, but it at least means that Intel’s handheld independent display/integrated solution is no longer a slogan. More realistically, if it is really announced at Computex this year, it will be logical to follow up with G4 next year. Intel has finally established a decent intergenerational rhythm in the handheld market.
From B380/B360 rumors to Arc B390/B370 pairing
Another point worth noting is the graphics specification naming. Early rumors often mentioned B380 and B360, but the new batch of models were changed to a combination of Arc B390 and B370. Compared with Intel’s own Arc series stack, the naming logic is more consistent. In terms of power consumption, exposure information shows that the G3 still maintains a configurable basic TDP of 25W, and the highest turbine power consumption is seen in 65W and 80W gears.
Who will get on the car in the first wave: MSI and OneXPlayer have high voices, but ASUS and Lenovo are still waiting and watching.

On the partner side, it is currently reported that MSI and OneXPlayer may be the first wave of adopters, and brands that have appeared on the CES “Handhelds Unleashed” stage include GPD, Acer, and even Microsoft. However, at this stage, we still don’t see Asus and Lenovo officially joining the Arc G3 camp. In other words, the key to whether the Arc G3 can really open up the situation is not on the day of its release, but whether it can allow players to buy a mass-produced machine that is stable, has good battery life, and does not drive turbulently within a few weeks or months after the release.
