“Temtem (Temtem/Temtem)” created by Crema has been relying on the “Pokémon-like MMO” for some time to stand firm. Now the team has announced that the new work “Temtem: Pioneers (Temtem: Pioneers/Temtem: Pioneers)” will not follow the original turn-based battle, but will be changed to a more open-world mode of survival, construction, monster hunting, and raising partners like “Palworld (Palworld)”.
The stage changes to a new area Downbelow
The new game will be released on 4/9 and will take players to a new area called Downbelow. Officials also revealed two new Temtem: Bellora, who looks like a cow and has flowers on her head, and Dracub, who looks like a big-eared bat and has crystals. In other words, this is not just a change of gameplay, the world view and biological illustrations will also continue to expand.

Forget about turn-based combat for faster real-time combat
“Forget everything you know about turn-based gameplay,” Crema stressed in a press release. Players will adopt a new real-time combat system in “Temtem: Pioneers”, and can send out up to three Temtem at a time during battle. They can switch immediately after entering the field and use their respective abilities to deal with enemy attacks. This means that the rhythm will be closer to that of an action game: instead of counting turns, you have to make instant judgments, arrange your team and skill combos.

Collect, build a home, farm, build a settlement, and cooperate
The game will include methods of collecting resources, building a home, building homes and settlements, and even have a “caretaker” goal orientation of taking care of and nurturing partnerships. And it also supports cooperative play (co-op), making “exploiting together” part of the core experience. The overall smell is this: the world of Temtem goes in a direction that’s more like a large sandbox.

The scale of the content is not small, and the official mentioned that there will be 200+ Temtem!
Crema said that the new game will still retain the content of more than 200 Temtem creatures and include a large number of new species, allowing players of the original game to re-explore the familiar and unfamiliar. For fans of the series, this can at least alleviate the anxiety of changing gameplay.

“Temtem: Pioneers” has been launched on Kickstarter, and the amount has reached US$104,965 (approximately TWD 3,358,880 / HKD 818,727 / MYR 493,336), exceeding half of the funding goal! The game is expected to be released on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), but an exact release date has not yet been announced.
