Sega once again registered the dreamcast classic RPG trademark hinting that this game: SEGA registered the RPG trademark on a DREAMCAST console in Japan on January 16th

SEGA registered the trademarks of “Skies of Arcadia” and “Eternal Arcadia” (Chinese name: Sky Ship/Sunny Sky Adventure/Eternal Arcadia) in Japan on January 16, and officially announced the news on January 24! It is worth noting that the titles of both works refer to the same game, the former is the American version and the latter is the Japanese version. This move triggered enthusiastic expectations among fans for remakes or transplants of classic RPGs!

“Skies of Arcadia” is a turn-based RPG launched by SEGA on its own Dreamcast console on October 5, 2000. It is called “Eternal Arcadia” in Japan. With its unique aerial adventure, gripping plot, and rich elements of sky pirate adventure, this game has become a classic among classics. On December 26, 2002, the enhanced version of the game “Skies of Arcadia Legends” and “Skies of Arcadia Legends” landed on the Nintendo GameCube, adding more content and improved gameplay. However, since then, no new version of this game has appeared on a new platform, leaving fans eagerly awaiting it for years!

The Dreamcast is a console launched by Sega in 1998 and is the pioneer of the sixth generation of game consoles. It is famous for its leading hardware performance and network functions. It brought many classic works, such as “Shenmue”, “Crazy Taxi”, “Soul Edge” and “Jetset Radio” and other masterpieces. It resisted PS2 during its short life cycle. Although it failed, it is still a legend in the history of consoles! Since this console, Sega has withdrawn from the console market and become a third-party game producer and publisher.
